Anchor Point Christian Fellowship was founded in 1956. Pastor Fred Cohu has been serving diligently for 23 years and has been ordained for 16 years. However, he does not pastor alone; we have one associate pastor on staff as well. Pastor Daniel Bender has been faithfully serving at APCF for the last 6 years and ordained since 2022. They lead our church along with an amazing Elder and Deacon team. Our mission is quite simple here at Anchor Point: to follow Jesus, walk in love, and make disciples! 

All that we do here at APCF is to fulfill our mission and give ALL the glory to the Lord. You’ll find that our church doesn’t put one person, whether pastor, singer, or volunteer, at the focal point of anything we do. We strive to put the Lord above all and serve with humility in all areas! 

At Anchor Point, we focus on 3 main distinctives: Being Scripture Focused, Inspired by Grace, and Equipped to serve! We don’t believe in following the most popular trend in the American church or having to create the next catchy hook. We simply believe that if we just focus on the already finished revelation of the Lord through his word, we have enough! At Anchor Point, we focus on the foundational pieces that transform our lives to live like Christ and fulfill the great commission. 

Lastly, we believe in forming a healthy church culture here at APCF. We strive to have full transparency in moving the church forward. Whether that’s strategically or financially. You’ll find that more important church matters aren’t approved by a senior pastor. They’re approved through our elder and deacon team and then voted on by church members. Transparency gives our church community the peace of mind that everything has a “checks & balance” mindset.
